NO PERMIT NO EXAM.
The death of the U. P student who was advised to take a "leave from school" because she was not able to comply her requirements for tuition exemption was an eye opener for the public (students, parents and school administrators ) to muse.
A fellow worker said, "'wag pilit ang pag-paaral ng anak sa isang school na mahal
ang tuition kung di naman kayang magbayad ng tuition."
Hence, the consequence.
Suicide.
This is a very valid comment.
But who can't blame parents and learners themselves to seek for better schools and rare chances to get quality education despite financial restraints. Getting quality education by performing good in school is like being in a battle and never giving up up to the last breath just to win the war.
"Ang pagpupumilit ng pamilya ng U.P student ay isang pakikipaglaban sa realidad na mahirap talagang mapanalunan kung mahina lang ang iyong kalooban." Pero sila ay lumaban.
At ito ay katapangan.
The end may have not justified the means.
They fought to the last breath... and did not simply resign to an idea that
'wag daw ipilit ang pag-paaral ng anak sa isang school na mahal ang tuition kung di naman kayang magbayad ng tuition." dahil alam nila na...
ito ay salungat ng katapangan.
