"COMELEC CHAIR JOSE MELO SAYS HE CAN SMILE again. “Elections will go through at all levels, in all precincts,” he happily declared Wednesday after a test run on a precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machine in one Makati precinct yielded a “perfect” result. The same machine was one among scores of machines that failed to read votes cast for local positions in an earlier test conducted Monday, forcing the Comelec to call off the nationwide testing of some 76,000 PCOS machines and recall all the flash cards where the instructions are encoded. The accurate reading of the test votes came after a reconfigured flash card was used. And a visibly relieved Melo gratefully said, “It seems that our prayers have been answered.”
Our country's history will be rewritten after monday, may 10, 2010. Let our voices be heard and our choice for good governance prevail.!!!
